Summary
Welcomes guests and/or members in the POA Lobby, providing the first impression of HSV’s member services. Assists with sales of member items including, but not limited to Annual Cards, Vehicle Decals, and other items for Members /Property Owners. Excellent customer service, communication skills, adaptability, and attention to detail required. Computer skills (including Point of Sale (POS) systems) required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains knowledge of community offerings and events and serves as a hub for member and visitor inquiries.
- Remains alert for visitors requiring physical assistance with entering the facility and helping to ensure safe entry and exit.
- Issues visitor passes, oversees visitor sign in and ensures that only authorized guests are permitted past the lobby.
- Sells annual cards, decals, work passes and amenities passes for members, non-property owners and local workers.
- Issues Visitor’s pass when required.
- Assists members and/or visitors by telephone or in person to provide information and/or provide amenity services.
- Efficient and accurately utilizes Point of Sale (POS) system and maintains accurate member database records.
- Balances daily transactions and register drawer accurately.
- Completes contact forms for new members and/or change of address records.
- Regular attendance and professional appearance required.
- Ability to work additional hours, as needed, during peak sales periods, vacation coverage, and holiday or weekend office openings.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); commensurate experience and/or training in a customer service environment preferred
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and standard operating procedure manuals. Ability to speak concisely, professionally and effectively before groups of customers or employees within the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and monetary denominations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to calmly and professionally interact with co-workers, guests, members and property owners, seeking to de-escalate concerns and involving supervisors when needed.
