We are currently seeking a Revenue Cycle Assistant with a great work ethic, to provide direct support to our Revenue Cycle Specialists. Under the direction of the Billing Manager, the ideal candidate will be instrumental in providing the team with administrative support. This role will be responsible for assisting with follow-up on unpaid claims, insurance appeals, corrected claims correspondence and navigating through the different portals for claim information. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and organizational skills along with a strong attention to detail. We are looking for candidates that have experience working in a medical environment with great customer service skills and motivation to learn. Experience in medical billing is strongly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely follow-up on all unpaid claims with insurance companies
  • Work on insurance appeals and corrected claims correspondence
  • Utilize all available portals for claim information
  • Create and submit appeals and corrected claims packets, and other disputes, as necessary
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications and skills required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 year experience working in medical environment, front desk office or related experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to various work environments
