Billing Specialist—Tuscaloosa, AL

The Billing Specialist’s primary function is to work with internal and external contacts in every aspect of the billing & collections process. Excellent communication skills are necessary. The successful candidate will display excellent organization skills and work ethic. Specific responsibilities include

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and remit specialized client invoicing.
  • Gathering documentation for client invoices.
  • Resolving billing issues with input from Project Managers.
  • Provide internal and external customer service related to the account receivable functions.
  • Contact delinquent clients with collection requests.
  • Other special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office software, particularly MS Excel.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to multi-task and think independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Quick books or Vision accounting software knowledge is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time, on-premises
