This highly visible, key position within our Human Resources department is responsible for providing timely and professional support in all HR functional areas including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits, and employee engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs, initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
  • Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Administer performance management processes by working with managers on goal setting, editing performance evaluations, and coaching managers and supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files (electronic).
  • Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment processes.
  • Assist with process improvements and utilizing HRMS to streamline workflows.
  • Participate in managing WC cases together with employee, manager, and providers.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be bilingual in Spanish (able to speak, read, and write). Able to translate documents from English to Spanish.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be comfortable with presenting information to groups of employees, supervisors, and managers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and additional HRIS programs. Knowledge of Paylocity is a big plus.
