Metro Dermatology is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, bi/multi-lingual, career-minded, and experienced medical assistants to join our dynamic and fast-paced team at our Fort Lee location. Metro Dermatology of NY/NJ is a high-volume and rapidly growing medical and aesthetic dermatology practice, serving diverse communities in the Bronx, Flushing, Jackson Heights/Elmhurst, and Fort Lee, NJ. If you are a self-motivated, accountable, goal-oriented team player who enjoys providing compassionate care to a wide range of dermatological patients, this is the place for you. Responsibilities include:

- Assisting providers with procedures and surgeries, phlebotomy, prescriptions, and maintaining efficient patient flow.

- Assisting patients with laser and phototherapy treatments for positive results.

- Communicating with patients, pharmacies, and insurance companies to assist with any questions, prescription inquiries, and prior authorizations.

- Triaging and collecting patient histories, charting and completing documentation, prepping and maintaining sterile examination and operating rooms, and restocking and ordering supplies as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

- MUST have an associate's degree or higher

- SHOULD BE fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster if eligible

- MUST BE BILINGUAL, English and Korean

- MUST be able to start early (7:45 am) or stay late (6 pm)

-- MUST be available on Fridays, and half days (9 am to 1 pm) on some Saturdays

- LPN or RN license preferred, with experience in a dermatology practice a plus

- Fluency in other languages is a plus

Full-time applicants who are able to make at least an 18 to 24 month commitment preferred. Part-time positions may be available for exceptional candidates
