Change/Release Management Specialist

Title: Change/Release Management Specialist
Location: Remote (USA)
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
- Document and communicate business, system, and technical requirements.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms.
- Perform a variety of tasks, including system test-related tasks
- Provide deliverables that account for emerging industry practices when solving business problems.
- Handle multi-faceted and complex assignments simultaneously while maintaining quality standards and meeting aggressive schedules.
- Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
- Work closely with a technical team of Architects, Database Engineers, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, Testers, and other technical staff,
- Follow established processes (i.e., SDLC, A&A) and develop required document deliverables.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other IT related field.
- ITIL-based Change and Release Management experience, especially using ServiceNow.
- 3 years of demonstrated requirements development and management experience across.
- Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administration.
- Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems.
- Working knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Preferred Skills:
- ITIL Foundations certification

- Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
- Strong stakeholder management, including advising and influencing clients regarding process improvement initiatives, and working positively.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
