Enrollment Activities Coordinator

Position Summary:
The position of Enrollment Activities Coordinator will provide support for campus and community activities under the college’s Strengthening Hispanic-Serving Institutions grant. Responsibilities will include planning, publicizing and presenting events; maintaining relevant event information and data; providing faculty/staff support; and engaging with community partners (organizations, schools, parents) The objectives of the activities and events are to meet the grant goal of increasing awareness of and enrollment at Calumet College. This is a grant-funded position through September 30, 2028.
Primary Responsibilities/Duties:
- Elevate the college’s presence at various community events by planning and coordinating attendance and activities. Examples include local fairs, gatherings, school events and municipal events. (ie. Pierogifest, Empanadafest, National Night Out etc..)
- Partner with the admissions team to plan and coordinate enrollment-based events on Campus. Examples include open houses, science fairs, high school visits
- Partner with staff and faculty to facilitate relationships with area community colleges. Then leverage those relationships to create opportunities to introduce Calumet College to community college students.
- Help coordinate transfer days on campus
- Help coordinate faculty initiatives with area high schools including speech and debate judging, science Olympiad days, afterschool mentorship/tutoring and more.
- Help conduct parent presentations on campus and in the community (library, Boys and Girls Club etc..)
- Partner with the marketing team to ensure the integrity, high-quality, and consistency of the university's image, tone, style, narrative, visual identity, and brand
- Assist in coordinating interdependent short-, medium-, and long-term marketing and communications projects that support and achieve Enrollment Management goals and priorities
- Work collaboratively with the Enrollment Team to meet specified goals
- Prepare regular reports about activities to meet grant requirements
- Link activities to enrollment results
