Basic Function:

Responsible for the overall supervision of the production department and product shipment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Delegate assignments to Production Workers on a daily basis.
  2. Inspect progress of workers' assignments daily.
  3. Ensure that Production Workers perform operations for each order, in accordance with quality control standards and order requirements.
  4. Ensure that Production Workers sign and date appropriate operations as required.
  5. Ensure that jobs are properly delivered to the Inspection Department in a timely manner in order to achieve shipment schedule.
  6. Ensure production equipment set up's are completed as required.
  7. Report equipment malfunctions to appropriate individuals, and complete minor repairs as needed.
  8. Ensure materials required for each order are available and properly prepared, and order materials as needed.
  9. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  10. Manage personnel related matters of Production Workers as needed.
  11. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain an effective department through the selection, training, compensation, motivation, termination and review of department employees.
  2. Direct and supervise all department employees to ensure goals are established for the warehouse area.
