Job Description: 
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant, Global Inventory & Intercompany to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate for this role will be proven Finance professional that can demonstrate excellent business partnership while maintaining responsibility for global inventory and intercompany accounting processes. Reporting to the Controller, Corporate and Americas Region, this pivotal role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Preparation of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly and annual reports, with a particularly focus on inventory and intercompany accounting
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company guidelines and industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Region Controllers, Plant Controllers and Plant Leadership to monitor and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the accounting function.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed.

Ideal Profile: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or chemical industry preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (e.g. SAP)
  • Based in Wilmington, DE
