About the Job:

Addison Group is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for our client in the manufacturing industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to manage daily HR functions for hourly employees., you will also support recruitment, onboarding, payroll assistance, and employee engagement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee records, including pre-employment files and personnel documents, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Handle workers' compensation claims, employment verification, and employee investigations, including those related to harassment and disputes.
  • Support recruitment processes by assisting with job postings, scheduling interviews, and facilitating onboarding for new hires.
  • Assist with payroll processing, including timecard management and responding to employee payroll inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records in HR systems (Paylocity) and generate reports for management as needed.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for hourly employees, handling concerns related to work conditions, benefits, and more.
  • Stay updated with state and federal labor laws to ensure compliance in HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in HR meetings and contribute to the team’s strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with payroll processes and systems
