JOB DUTIES

 

Production Floor and Warehouse Organization:

  • Ensure all parts and BIN locations are clearly labeled
  • Ensure all areas have clear and proper signage

 

Inventory Management Support:

  • Complete Inventory Management tasks as assigned by the Inventory Manager
    • Daily Cycle Count Review and Data Entry in ERP system
    • Follow up with Area Leads when there are Inventory Count Discrepancies
    • Maintain and update inventory records to ensure accurate and timely inventory tracking
    • Provide Inventory Reports to the Inventory Manager, including, but not limited to: Excess & Obsolete, FIFO (First In, First Out) auditing, Scrap Analysis, etc.
    • Review and analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
    • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Microsoft Office/Computer Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during physical inventory counts

 

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2+ Years in Inventory Control/Management in a Manufacturing Environment (preferred)
  • Experience working with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc), WMS (Warehouse Management Software), or similar tools (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Inventory Principles, Concepts, and Procedures
