As a Civil Engineer, your days will be spent:

  • Utilizing your Engineering knowledge to complete project tasks under the direction of senior staff
  • Collaborating with colleagues and embracing JT’s values and culture
  • Communicating effectively internally and externally
  • Performing quality work within established guidelines


To excel from day one, you’ll need:

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • 0 - 3 years of relevant experience
  • Engineer In Training (EIT) Certification or the ability to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering exam within six months of hire
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences
  • To be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located
  • To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work
