Compensation:Up to $55,000 DOE
Responsibilities:- Manage department resources, and delegate tasks to ensure timely and accurate mail and document processing
- Train and supervise employees, providing guidance and coaching as needed and overseeing policies and procedures created specifically for the team to run efficiently
- Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure the document management system integrates effectively with the firm's broader operational needs, enhancing cross-functional workflows and information access.
- Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures that comply with legal standards and best practices in document management.
- Perform quality accurate jobs/projects that may require tight deadlines and potentially under high pressure as well as professional-level support to attorneys and legal assistants
- Perform general office duties, such as photocopying, faxing, and data entry, and other office tasks as needed
- High School diploma or GED required; some college experience preferred
- Proven experience managing a mailroom or similar administrative operation
- Proficient in basic computer software as well as general office tools and can quickly learn to use new programs
- History of being deadline-driven and extremely organized
- Shows great interpersonal skills and excellent written communication
