We are currently seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team at our facility located in Gilbert, AZ, 85233. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating manual machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
  • Machine parts to close tolerances using manual machining techniques
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Works with Engineering and Quality on issues, needs and improvements
  • Communicates with Tooling department to determine needs and offer suggestions
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
  • 7+ years experience as a Manual Machinist, in tool making, fixturing and production manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Strong knowledge of manual machining techniques, machine and controller functions, machine tolerances and GD&T
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills

Salary info:

$25 - $35 / hr
