The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data architecture principles, excellent SQL skills, and experience in metadata management. You will work both independently and collaboratively to optimize data management solutions and support business requirements through effective data modeling and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Implement RDBMS, operational data stores (ODS), data marts, and data lakes on SQL and NoSQL platforms.
  • Oversee and govern the expansion of existing data architecture.
  • Optimize data query performance using best practices.
  • Implement business and digital transformation data requirements across all data platforms.
  • Write SQL queries for data analysis and profiling; ensure data integrity.
  • Understand and apply concepts of metadata management, data lakes, data warehouses, and data lineage.
  • Collaborate with business and application teams to build data flows and develop data models.
  • Define and govern data modeling standards, tools, and best practices.
  • Proactively address business requirements and articulate issues to reduce risks.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data modeling and database design.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data architecture, metadata management, and data lineage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in data management are a plus.
