Ambassador Worldwide Protection Agency, Inc. is currently seeking experienced and qualified individuals to join our team as an Armed Security Officer in Memphis, TN metropolitan area.
Requirements:
- Must be a citizen of the United States or a resident alien and eligible to work in the United States.
- Must have possession of an active State of Tennessee Armed Security License (Guard Card). No Exceptions.
- Must have own weapon & holster.
- Proficient in firearms knowledge and the ability to successfully qualify on additional weapon, if needed.
- Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and other security equipment to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including investigating disturbances and reporting any unauthorized individuals or activities.
- Enforce access control procedures, including verifying identification and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and/other team members as needed to maintain a safe environment.
- Maintain a high-level security presence and safety by patrolling assigned areas and promptly responding to potential threats or violations of property rules, by-laws, city ordinances, county ordinances and state law.
- Effectively and efficiently communicate complex information to clients and fellow team members.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to recognize, analyze and enforce security measures to mitigate potential risks.
- Uphold the principles of the agency and adhere to all standard operating procedures.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience working as a security officer.
- Good moral character with no convictions for DUI, Domestic Violence, Drug or Narcotics charges, Theft or other dishonest acts.
- No disability that would hinder the ability to perform required duties.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Must not have been dishonorably discharged from U.S. military service.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong teamwork skills.
- Capacity to work well under pressure.
- Basic computer skills for operating security equipment.
