Job DescriptionJob Description

SWP, LLC. is looking for an Equipment Operator for the construction and maintenance of earthwork structures, such as highways, streets, dikes, temporary roads, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Operates various heavy equipment, including, but not limited to dozers, excavators, backhoes, skid steers, and scrapers.
  • Performs various activities such as fine grading, finishing, sloping, banking, and excavating.
  • Performs routine inspection before and after each use.
  • Performs general maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Maintains a clean and safe job site.
  • Comply and understand company safety policies to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and be exposed to elements.
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive construction setting, including exposure to moving machinery and heavy equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to commute to the job site.
  • Must pass company background and drug testing procedures.
