Fräsch is seeking an Estimator. The Estimator position is responsible for preparing estimates/quotations for acoustical projects across the country. Specifically, they will evaluate customer acoustical needs, outline recommendations, provide specification, drawings, and other documentation to establish the basis of the proposed solution and costs. We are currently seeking bright and highly motivated individual to join our team as Estimator/Project Manager. The ideal candidate for this position must be a highly organized, self-motivated, proactive go-getter with strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as an exceptional ability to organize competing deadlines and priorities and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate comprehensive quote proposals, including price estimate, layout drawings and acoustical calculations using customer provided and internally generated information including architectural prints and specifications, conceptual design sketches, or just with dimensions and needs information
  • Review architect’s plans and project specifications to ensure conformance with product.
  • Perform and verify take-offs and effectively communicate the details to project manager and customers.
  • Prepare estimates utilizing current estimating software and ERP System.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and organization.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree – Preferably in Engineering, Architecture or similar
  • Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving and communication abilities.
  • Ability to read architectural plans and project specifications.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly AutoCAD, ERP Systems, SketchUp
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Must be able to work and effectively communicate with customers, project teams, interoffice departments, and co-workers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • AutoCAD: 1 year - Preferred
  • SketchUp or similar: 1 year – Preferred
  • ERP Systems: 1 year - Preferred
