YOUR ROLE: Insurance Consultant or Senior Insurance Analyst
This role is an experienced resource engaging with financial professionals to identify, design, and implement insurance solutions for their clients. You will assist the financial professional to make recommendations that are appropriate, suitable, and in the best interest of the client. The role has a solid understanding of the resources available from the FIG family of companies and partner firms (i.e. insurance carriers). You will be part of a team that educates financial professionals and provides superior support that meets/exceeds the expected service levels. The objective of the team is to be the premier provider of insured solutions to RIAs, BDs, and financial professionals.
This opportunity fosters a unique experience in working with all types of financial professionals to deliver insurance solutions to clients. We are seeking hard-working, motivated, team players with exceptional integrity and communication skills.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Experienced insurance resource that will engage proactively and reactively with financial professionals as part of a sales desk model during each business day.
- Ability to learn and comprehend concepts and products quickly.
- Educating financial professionals and clients regarding insurance solutions
- Educating financial professionals about sales/insurance concepts
- Leveraging the full range of resources available at FIG to empower financial professionals
- Ability to communicate the FIG story and value proposition to financial professionals
- Always providing professional, accurate, and courteous services that align with the service level expectations
- Accountable to weekly and regular fast-paced metrics and service level standards.
- Motivated and energized by helping clients to create insured outcomes
WHY YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON:
- Insurance licensed in resident state – Required
- Experience with multiple product lines – annuities, life insurance, disability insurance, and care planning – Preferred
- Experience working with financial professionals (RIAs, BDs, financial planners, and independent insurance agents) – Preferred
- Proven success working as part of a team and/or sales desk environment
- Perseverance, strong positive attitude, and repetition are all key strengths needed for optimal success in this role.
- Ability to balance time working with a variety of advisors; including the ability to professionally work with difficult/challenging agents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Perseverance in completing tasks and communicating, knowing the prospect cycle may be tenuous.
- Open-minded to taking direction. Willingness to provide feedback to improve processes.
This role is salaried plus an opportunity for a bonus based on the overall growth of FIG. The position may be based at the FIG home office, or a remote location. Standard business hours are Monday - Friday (8:30am – 5:30pm ET). However, some individuals may work alternate hours to allow for additional coverage. Additionally, F.I.G. offers health, dental, & vision coverage, 401k, and a generous PTO plan.
