Basic Qualifications:
To apply for this position, you must meet these basic qualifications:
- Possess one year or more experience in retail sales or customer service (preferred).
- Have six months or more experience providing product support services or troubleshooting electronics (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of mobile devices and operating systems.
- Hands-on repair experience with hardware devices, such as soldering equipment (preferred).
- Flexibility to work according to variable retail schedules; store hours are Monday-Saturday from 10 am until 7 pm; Sundays run from noon until five o'clock pm; weekly working hours will vary accordingly.
- Successfully pass background checks, including a criminal record check and drug test screening.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

With a starting pay of $16 per hour, and the chance to earn uncapped bonuses and commissions, you can look forward to a rewarding career with us.
Top performers earn an average of $665/month on top of their base hourly rate through Repair & Sales Commissions.
As a retail technician, your role encompasses:
- Serving as the representative of uBreakiFix by Asurion, delivering exceptional, personalized customer experiences.
- Offering technical expertise, troubleshooting, and repairing customer electronic devices.
- Elevating the customer experience through our 'serve, solve, and sell' approach, with a focus on introducing the uBreakiFix by Asurion Connected Home product in every customer interaction.
- Attaining sales objectives.
- Overseeing inventory management.
- Coordinating same-day pick-up inventory, including packaging, shipping, receiving, and handing packages to delivery drivers.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement programs and processes while providing valuable feedback.
- Self-management and setting of priorities.
- Multitasking efficiently in a dynamic retail environment.
- Mastering the intricacies of the Connected Home product, understanding the customer's technology, and offering and selling protection/tech support solutions to meet customer needs.
- Engaging with customers to identify issues or explain repair processes.
- Effectively repairing devices, addressing cracked glass, and conducting comprehensive pre- and post-repair testing.
