GoldenWolf is seeking a Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE)/QC Technician to support our Defense Health Agency client.?The technician we are seeking should possess an understanding of surveying medical treatment and supporting facilities. They should be adept at identifying and employing industry-standards or DHA RPIE data collection standards, accurately labeling RPIE according to current DHA codes and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) Specialist/Quality Control Assessor is responsible for conducting equipment inventories of facility systems and providing Quality Control support for a comprehensive RPIE Inventory and Assessment program for healthcare facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform RPIE inventories of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems for facilities and buildings identified.
  • Input captured RPIE information into designated software and upload into the client’s system.
  • Review as-built plans for identification and verification of inventory.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of real property systems.
  • Validate/QC existing RPIE and update as required.
  • Work within a team environment to develop consistent approaches to Quality Control processes.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to client on status of RPIE inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Clearance or the ability to obtain said clearance is required.
  • Experience in the construction and/or facilities management fields will be considered.
  • Experienced with equipment identification and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Experience with RPIE and DMLSS is a plus.
  • Experience with quality control reviews.
  • Preferred minimum two years of experience working in facilities maintenance.
  • Prefer 5 years of technical experience with Real Property Systems; Mechanical, Structural, Fire Protection and Electrical preferred.?
  • Experience in Facility Operations & Maintenance Procedures a plus.
  • Analytical thinking/critical thinking skills are imperative. Ability to understand and work with new technologies and iOS applications and provide feedback to software developers from a field perspective.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • Must be highly motivated and possess the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
