Position Overview:
HCO Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and bilingual licensed counselor to provide high-quality telehealth counseling services to a diverse client population. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and experienced in providing culturally sensitive, client-centered mental health services. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while making a significant impact on clients' mental and emotional well-being through telehealth platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling services to clients through telehealth, ensuring culturally appropriate care in both English and Spanish.
- Conduct initial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapeutic interventions based on client needs.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to address a variety of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing telehealth systems.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, treatment plans, and client progress.
- Collaborate with other members of the HCO Behavioral Health team to provide comprehensive care and resources for clients.
- Stay current with telehealth practices, cultural competency, and best practices in counseling.
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary.


Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or PLPC in Louisiana.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to conduct sessions seamlessly in either language.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of counseling experience, with experience in providing telehealth services preferred.
- Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of multicultural counseling practices and the ability to work with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in both languages.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology.


Preferred Skills:
- Experience providing telehealth services to underserved or bilingual communities.
- Certification or specialized training in specific therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, etc.).
- Ability to manage flexible schedules and work with clients in different time zones.
