Candidates with a 4-year Construction Management/Civil Engineering degree or equivalent in work related experience within the industry.

Hulstein Excavating Inc. provides a competitive benefit package for

Job Responsibilities:

  • Job tracking/reporting
  • Construction project management
  • Attend bid lettings, pre-construction meetings, project weekly meetings
  • Oversee work of crews engaged in road construction projects
  • Procures materials and supplies and ensures they are on-site in a timely manner.
  • Works with field personnel to maintain schedule, and budget.
  • Schedules subcontractors
  • Oversees project records and ensures they are correct and accurate.
  • Works with project owners and engineers.

Requirements

  • Excellent negotiating and communication skills.
  • Well organized with strong attention to details
  • Self-driven
  • Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel.
  • Ability to read plans
  • Above average math skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others.
