With 2,000 data center modules totaling 2 GW of capacity deployed to date, our solutions are used by some of the largest operators in the industry—including search engine and social media companies, co-location providers and cloud service hosts. ABOUT THE ROLEThe Product Engineer assists the product development team in performing focused tasks to support the product development process. The Product Engineer must be able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and understand basic electrical and mechanical systems. They may be asked to focused on one or more of the following processes; generating a bill of material, preparing and reviewing submittals, soliciting quotes, performing basic quantity takeoffs, assembling PowerPoint presentations from multiple source documents, and printing, storing and retrieving design and engineering documents in the Document Management System. Completing specific product development tasks or activities including:Creating, storing, printing and submitting documentsMaintaining information logs (RFI, submittal, change requests)Distributing information to the development teamParticipating in team meetings.Recording meeting minutes and tracking action items.Facilitating the collaboration between product development teams and the manufacturing assembly teams.Goals & Objectives:Complete tasks completely, accurately and on timePlay an active role in a creative team collaboration environmentMaintain proficiency in the use of the tools providedSupport continuous improvement initiatives ABOUT YOUProficient with Microsoft Windows and Office 365Familiarity with Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Bluebeam RevuBasic understanding of electrical wiring methodsBasic understanding of processes and document flow on a construction project or in an industrial manufacturing environment MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAny combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Licensure/Certifications: None required. Experience: 2 to 4 years in an administrative support role on a construction site for a general contractor, electrical contractor, or mechanical contractor, or in an industrial manufacturing environment.*Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
