JOB SUMMARY

The Non-QM Loan Processor takes ownership of residential mortgage loan files and works to fulfill the requirements to advance them to closing. This includes obtaining, reviewing, and assembling documentation, along with preparing and submitting files.

  • 2+ year(s) total related VA, FHA, Non QM and conventional processing experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must have extensive knowledge and experience of Non Qualified Mortgage products
    • Example: Jumbo Loans, Bank Statement Loans, HELOC / Second Mortgages.
  • Review file prior to submitting to Underwriting within 24 hours of receiving it
  • Evaluate credit history
  • Calculate income, W2 and self-employed information
  • Process VA, FHA and Conventional loans and adhere to guidelines
  • Review file documentation for missing or erroneous information, notifying MC and PM of any urgent issues
  • Review Conditionally Approved Loan within 48 hours
  • Welcome Call to Customer within 48 hours and notes updated
  • Requesting additional information from customer and/or 3rd parties within 48 hours and updating the notes and tracker
  • Prioritize and monitor daily workflow to ensure all loans are being worked on in accordance with AFC timeline expectations
  • Maintain constant communication with customers and MC’s on status updates and/or changes to the loan
  • Serve as the representative to the team and be available to all parties through the process
  • Initiate follow-up phone calls to members and third parties to obtain necessary loan documentation, title, credit and/or collateral information
  • Rectify issues and investigate any red flags
  • Respond quickly to all members and third-party inquiries and keeping the file conversation log updated
  • Gather and submit post-closing documentation as needed

  • Order all necessary documents to satisfy AUS finding, investor and agency requirements
  • Verify, review, and track all requested documents in Byte
  • Review documentation received within 24 hours of receipt and follow up in the event of discrepancies or omitted data
  • Work directly with Senior Management
  • Update notes in files every 3-5 days
  • Contact Borrower every 3-5 days and conversation log updated
  • Daily RCTC Projections completed and given to PM with a minimum of 1 daily projection reaching to hit 2+
  • Maintain proactive review of pipeline to ensure all loans are being reviewed
  • Meet or exceed monthly performance goals to include production, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Working collaboratively with other departments
  • Assisting and or resolving escalated issues with closing, sales or underwriting
  • Approving CD’s
  • Assist and resolve post-closing issues
  • Providing Excellent Customer Service
  • Authenticating each phone call as described in the authentication process
  • Notating the file after each communication
  • Collecting data needed to complete the loan process
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule

Compensation: $50,000 + Bonus
