Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Transport Refrigeration Technician with Thermo King or Carrier experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Apopka, FL.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Life insurance, and 401k  

Pay: $34.00 - $37.00/per hour (based on experience)

PLUS, OVER-TIME AND BONUS

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Carrier and Thermo King Reefers and auxiliary power units (APUs)
  • Positive interface with service writers, leadership team, parts department, drivers, vendors and customers
  • Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion
  • Work safely and follow company safety standards
  • Perform various other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
  • 608 EPA Certification (required)
  • Must have your own set of general tools
  • Able to read electric & amp refrigeration schematic
  • Keep an organized and clean work area
  • Prompt and reliable employee
  • 1-2-year mechanic experience preferred but not required
  • Effective communicator and team player
  • Physical activities include walking, being able to lift more than 20 lbs., twisting, turning, and climbing ladders
  • Able to pass a drug test
