We are currently seeking a forward-thinking, knowledgeable, and capable Senior Systems Administrator to take our team to the next level.  

What you'll do: 

  • Oversee Information Security, access control, technology solutions, internal partner relations and vendor relations
  • Provide innovative solutions to business needs and be an SME in the IT department
  • Provide technical support to users and partner with DevOps, SecOps and other highly technical departments
  • Organize and manage all phases of projects to ensure satisfactory and timely completion of deliverables
  • Run IT Business Continuing operations
  • Perform routine and scheduled audits of the systems
  • Implement automation to eliminate commonly repeated tasks

With IT Infrastructure you will:

  • Manage technical operations and maintenance of the data center, included backup, security, other infrastructure
  • Plan, organize and document complex system design activities and configure systems to be consistent with policies/procedures
  • Proactively monitor IT systems and infrastructure, provide key performance metrics to leadership

With IT Training and development you will:

  • Document processes and procedures, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions with team members
  • Conduct weekly IT Change Control meetings to discuss challenges, needs, and plan system changes.
  • Lead campus cybersecurity initiatives and work closely with SecOps Department

What you must have to be successful in this role:

  • Expert knowledge of networking particularly Switching with Cisco/Cisco Meraki
  • Expert knowledge of infrastructure services such as DHCP, DNS, AD & ENTRA ID, Group policies, and Azure Conditional Access
  • Expert knowledge of SIEM and SOAR, Certificate management, Zero Trust Framework, Bitlocker, PAM, and Defender for Cloud.
  • Expert knowledge of Email infrastructure [M365 or Gsuite]
  • Working knowledge of cloud telephony technologies and video conferencing
  • Working knowledge of of IDS and IPS systems, and advanced proxy
  • Possess great oral and written communication skills. Be comfortable presenting to an audience.
  • Possess project management skills
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages, SQL, and Automation platforms such as Mulesoft, Tray.io, or Workato, etc.
