Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining automatic gate systems, including electric gates, access control systems, and related equipment. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of Automatic Gates: Install a variety of automated gate systems, including sliding, swinging, and barrier gates, as well as associated access control systems.
  • System Configuration: Program and configure gate operators, control panels, and other automation equipment according to manufacturer specifications and client requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair issues with gate operators, electrical components, and access control systems. Perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
  • Wiring and Electrical Work: Safely install and connect electrical wiring and components required for gate automation systems, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions, and explain the operation and maintenance of their gate systems.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all installations and repairs meet safety standards and regulations. Conduct safety checks and educate clients on the safe use of automated gates.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance work. Provide detailed reports to clients and the company.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in installing and maintaining automated gate systems or similar electrical/mechanical systems. Experience with access control systems is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and gate automation technology. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to work outdoors, lift heavy equipment, and perform physical tasks related to the installation and maintenance of gate systems.
  • Communication: Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Certification: Relevant certifications in electrical work, gate automation, or access control systems are preferred.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as the role may require travel to client sites.
