The Warehouse Team Lead will assist in coordinating daily warehouse activities ensuring processes and staff are efficient; orders are picked correctly and loaded on the correct truck; and warehouse is kept clean. This position will be responsible for floating, training, assigning, closing process, and communicating job expectations of order selectors.

Warehouse Hours: Sunday - Friday
Sunday hours 8:00am to Finish (approx. 5:30pm-7pm)
Monday - Thursday hours 8:00am to Finish (approx. 7:00 - 8:00pm)
Friday hours 10:00am to Finish (approx. 3:00pm)

Schedule is flexible;4 or 5 days a week 40 - 45 hours per week.

Full-time Employees: We offer competitive wages starting at $19.00 - $21.00 per hour depending on previous warehouse and/or lead experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, 401(k), and Fresh Food Discounts.


A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR:

Skip the gym - you'll be regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.
Perform Order Selector duties, support and develop the warehouse team.
Pick fast & pick easy - our smart technology knows exactly how much you need to grab, so you will too.
Like to be active - position requires walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, climbing, bending, twisting, reaching, etc.

Warehouse Team Lead Responsibilities:

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with other Leads. Collaborate workload with other Lead and provide coverage when other Lead has time off.
  • Train new hires, recommend and implement new training strategies.
  • Work with supervisor on resolving errors, recommended new process to prevent future errors.
  • Coach employees with performance or productivity issues.
  • Recognize staffing needs. Assist with determining staffing levels and assigning workload; to include training and cross-training. Flexible with schedule, willing to work additional hours or different hours to cover staffing shortage.
  • Assist with staffing/scheduling (holidays, change in weather, customer's needs change, vacation, employees calling in sick or not showing up, etc.)
  • Stock and backstock snack and beverage in the morning and throughout the day.
  • Ensure end of day tasks are completed. Responsible for closing and locking warehouse.

Qualifications:

  • 2-year warehouse experience preferred.
  • Lead experience preferred.
  • Forklift certified or capable of being certified.
  • Valid Non-CDL Class D driver's license and good driving record.
  • Strong people skills
  • Strong communication and reasoning skills
  • Proven attendance record
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve and work as a team
  • Ability to lift 54lbs and push/pull 95lbs
