Job Summary:


We are seeking a talented Sourcing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with internal business leaders and external vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement of materials and services to help meet company objectives.

Essential Job Accountabilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing and scheduling.
  • Identify potential risk and carry out mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Present high-level negotiation skills while working with vendors to ensure optimal pricing, terms, and contracts while maintaining quality and reliability.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Provide process improvement, execution plans, and new business opportunities to executive team and business leaders throughout the organization.
  • Provide cost analysis and implement cost-saving initiatives that align with company goals.
  • Work directly with the executive team and other business leaders to resolve issues and ensure performance standards are maintained.
  • Manage inventory to optimize supply chain performance and reduce excess inventory cost.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Ability to effectively maintain multiple vendor relationships including large-scale national accounts.
  • Proven ability to identify cost-savings opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with vendors.
  • 5+ years of contract negotiation experience.
  • 7+ years of direct sourcing experience. Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction/project management related software’s.
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to work cross-functionally throughout the entire organization.
  • Strong attention to detail with high-level time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to proactively manage resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada.
