Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, or in-person visits.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and answering questions related to insurance policies, coverage, billing, and claims.
  3. Build strong and positive relationships with customers to foster trust, loyalty, and satisfaction.
  4. Manage and prioritize incoming customer service requests and inquiries to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate and facilitate customer requests that require additional assistance or expertise.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed customer records and documentation in the agency's database or CRM system.
  7. Assist customers with policy changes, updates, and renewals as needed.
  8. Educate customers on available insurance products, coverage options, and additional services offered by the agency.
  9. Actively listen to customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement in service delivery and customer experience.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed assistance and advice to customers.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service or insurance-related fields preferred.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the insurance industry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, databases, and office software applications (Microsoft applications).
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to resolve customer issues.
  • Positive attitude, patience, and empathy in dealing with customer concerns and inquiries.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, procedures, and technologies.
  • Needs to be soon or currently be Insurance licensed (We will help if needed)
