Job Description:
Are you an experienced and energetic fabrication professional with a knack for leadership? We're looking for a Fabrication Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll oversee our fabrication department, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in all operations. If you're passionate about fabrication and have strong leadership skills, we want to hear from you
As our Fabrication Supervisor, you will manage daily operations of the fabrication department, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. You will coordinate with design engineers, machinists, and fabricators to ensure seamless project execution. Safety is our top priority, so you'll implement and maintain safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations. You will also train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of team members, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of necessary materials. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to fabrication processes or equipment, promote continuous improvement of processes, and maintain accurate records of production activities while reporting to senior management.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Fabrication Supervisor or in a similar role within a metal fabrication environment. You should have a strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and precision machining. Excellent leadership and team management skills are essential, along with knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices. You should be able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and organizational skills and proficiency in using fabrication equipment and tools are required. Additional technical certifications or training are preferred.
