As the Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for managing front desk operations, handling patient inquiries,  scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and the clinical staff.

  • Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar. 
  • Communicate with the clinical staff about cancellation, no-show, and coordinate the re-schedule on a timely fashion. 
  • Verify and update patient information and keep the records up-to-date in the electronic medical records system.
  • Collect and process payments, insurance information, and other administrative tasks.
  • Ensure a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff to coordinate patient care.
  • Address patient inquiries, provide information, and resolve concerns promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to improve processes and enhance the patient experience.
  • Provide assistance in marketing events as needed. 

Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient with basic computer operations, such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Bilingual abilities is a plus
