A prestigious chain of medical centers in Hollywood, FL is looking to immediately hire a full-time Certified Medical Assistance (CMA) with a minimum of 3 years of experience to work in the Internal Medicine Department. These Centers offer $18 up to $22 per hour, plus hefty employment packages including paid time off (PTO), medical, dental and vision, retirement, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Collect patients' demographic information,
- Take vital signs and lab samples,
- Enter patients' data into the Company's EMR,
- Validate patients' insurance eligibility and collect copayments,
- Perform lab tests,
- Performance injection and medication administration,
- Sterilize medical instruments as needed, and
- Become a school Liaison.
Qualifications:
- A national certification in medical assistance,
- 3 years of experience,
- Scribe experience,
- Nursing home experience, and
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Job type:
- Full-time.
Pay level:
- $18 up to $22 per hour
Benefits:
- 2 weeks PTO/Sick/CME/religious floating holidays
