The Intake Coordinator is responsible for a
variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most
cost-effective manner. Must have good phone skills and able to work in a fast
paced environment. The Intake Counselor screens callers contacting AGMC’s
Behavioral Health Unit via phone for possible admission, or referral to
community resources. Coordinates admissions to inpatient services.

Qualifications

  1. High
    school diploma, preferred
  2. 1+ year of inpatient psychiatric, either working on a psychiatric unit
    and/or handling intake calls for inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.
