Summary

Teacher needed for a class of transitional ages 4/5 who are unable to go to kindergarten because of the new State of Ct start date age requirement.

Duties

Prepare and implement lesson plans that reflect a curriculum of kindergarten readiness, Focusing on Social, emotional and academic needs of each individual child. Being responsible for all classroom management·Be responsible for individual student file through our entire year. This includes but not limited to evaluations, communications between parents and sample of academic and social progress, classroom Attendance, sign/sign out sheets, accident/ illness/ Incident reports,be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean caring environment where children can flourish. Must be able to communicate well with parents daily, weekly and attend conferences as needed. Must be a team player flexible and reliable.

Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of preschool experience with children 3/4-year-olds. CDA, associate degree or equivalent in early childhood education.

Nice To Haves

CPR, pediatric first aid certificates.
Care 4 Kids Health and Safety course through the Ct Office of Early Childhood
