Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, as well as experience managing a team of accounting professionals. The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements and reports
- Maintain accounting policies and procedures
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
