Social Media Coordinator

Pay Rate: $20.00 an hour

The Corporate Source (TCS) is looking for a creative Social Media Coordinator to assist our Organization. This position offers a flexible schedule and averages 10 hours per week with opportunity for growth. Occasional travel to our Garden City office or TCS worksite may be required.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns. Ensure messaging is consistent with organizational mission of creating employment for people with disabilities
  • Create monthly and yearly calendars to manage content distribution across various social media platforms
  • Create and distribute compelling content such as infographics, videos and fundraising campaigns on social media, TCS website and through traditional news outlets
  • Write social media captions that speak to the organization's target audience
  • Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms
  • Track social media metrics to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for engagement and scalability
  • Prepare monthly reports on social media marketing efforts
  • Perform social media marketing research; develop new strategies for increasing engagement
  • Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
  • Assist with photo/video content shoots
  • Support live and online events

Requirements:

  • High degree of knowledge and skill in digital marketing/social media marketing with a deep interest in current social media trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain social media content for a group, business and/or organization.
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to source and verify information for content development.
  • Excellent internet research skills.
  • Mastery of the major social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Ability to monitor and evaluate the organization’s social media presence and performance analytics using Meta Insights and LinkedIn Analytics.
  • Experience with image/video editing software, such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite.
