Sandata is seeking an HR Generalist for our HR department. The Human Resources Generalist contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. This position including responsibilities in the following areas: employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, recruitment/talent acquisition, and employment law.

This position is remote and the candidate can sit anywhere in the United States.


What you will do:

  • Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt positions; coordinating job posting on the website and job boards and reviewing resumes
  • Coordinate interviews between hiring managers and candidates and facilitate the offer process
  • Create job descriptions and other relevant documents
  • Provide back up support to administer benefits, including: Medical, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, Workers Compensation, COBRA, FMLA, LOA.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to benefit coverage and claims.
  • Provide back up support to administer performance appraisal process
  • Provide counseling to managers on HR related issues.
  • Manage relationships with vendors
  • Research, plan and conduct employee training sessions based on company needs (ex: Harassment Awareness, HIPAA).
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities and remote social gatherings.
  • Proactively research changing laws and regulations that affect the company
  • Assists with the implementation of services, policies, and programs.
  • Review Policies and Procedures and revise as necessary.
  • Interview job applicants to match their qualifications with employers' needs, recording and evaluating applicant experience, education, training, and skills.
  • Protect Personal Health Information (PHI)
