Human Resources Partner

TheHuman Resources Partner positionis responsible for facilitating alignment between departmental/school Talentand Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) objectives and priorities with theUniversity's objectives. The HRP provides consultation and direct assistance byaccessing expertise and programs within HR functional areas to delivervalue-added services to exempt faculty and staff. The HRP maintains aneffective level of knowledge about the schools and departments priorities, mid-rangeplans, culture, and talent.

The HRPwill work closely with the Associate Vice President of Human Resources, Executive Director of Compensation/Benefits & HR Operations, HR Functional areas, and departments andschools across WNE.

EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a relatedfield is required. Master's Degree in HR related field is a plus.
  • At least five years of experience resolvingcomplex employee relations issues.
  • Working knowledge and experience in humanresource disciplines, including recruitment and retention, compensationpractices, organizational assessment, performance management, and federaland state employment laws. DEI experience is also a plus.
    SHRM-CP or HRI-PHR is desirable.
