Custom Fabricating & Supplies, a recognized leading provider of industrial masking products and solutions, is looking for a self-motivated and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at our location in Franklin, WI. The Customer Service Representative is often the first line of contact for our clients and prospects. It is critical to work in conjunction with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Estimating and Engineering to ensure work flows through the proper channels to satisfy customer expectations.

This position is to perform the duties of the Customer Service Representative for the assigned Outside Sales Representative. This involves providing quotes, processing customer orders, cold calling and communicating with customers, both internal and external. To be successful in this role you will need to be extremely computer savvy, have the ability to juggle multiple tasks, and be fearless when making outbound calls.


Job Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Build, establish and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Acknowledge and resolve customer queries and complaints.
  • Gather customer requests and requirements.
  • Process, record, manage and maintain accurate and detailed customer data.
  • Ensure that all customers receive products and services on time.
  • Analyze and audit customer documents.
  • Prepare and present data analysis reports.
  • Implement and monitor solution strategies.
  • Understand the technical or scientific products to be sold.
  • Proactively prospect leads to meet company goals, by researching, e-mailing and cold calling.
  • Learn and follow the CFS Quality Policy.
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
  • Participate in meetings, conferences and team activities.
  • Maintain positive customer relations approach towards visitors, customers, and employees.
  • Maintain a high-level of confidentiality on all matters involving Custom Fabricating & Supplies.
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of Customer Service experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • ERP/CRM experience.
