Job Description:

Network Engineer to work in Strongsville OH: Fortinet experience desired. Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. Issue configuration scripts for Cisco and Fortinet devices that are being newly installed or that needed configuration changes on the existing network infrastructure. Work on Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Unity Connection (CUC) to configure Cisco IP phones, Jabber profiles, Voicemail profiles, Line Groups, Hunt List and Hunt Pilot for single or multi-user IP phone deployments. Troubleshoot paging and fax managed services. Provide network surveillance, monitoring and triage of AVPN, DMVPN, SD-WAN network services by monitoring systems like CA Spectrum, Solarwinds Orion and Nimsoft to recognize network failure events. Troubleshoot network issues and analyze traffic patterns. Troubleshoot on CISCO Network Environments and Fortinet Network Environments. Work on CISCO IOS/IOS-XE. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications and Network Engineer (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience) as well as twenty four (24) months in job or job related experience to include issuing configuration scripts for Cisco and Fortinet devices that are being newly installed or that needed configuration changes on the existing network infrastructure; providing network surveillance, monitoring and triage of AVPN, DMVPN, SD-WAN network services by monitoring systems like CA Spectrum, Solarwinds Orion and Nimsoft to recognize network failure events; troubleshooting network issues and analyze traffic patterns; troubleshooting on CISCO Network Environments and Fortinet Network Environments; and work on CISCO IOS/IOS-XE. Full time 40 hours/week.
