About the Internship:
Project coordination is critical to all aspects of our client projects and our business, ensuring information is accurate and deadlines are met. This Project Coordinator (PC) Intern is focused on supporting executive roundtable communities for C-level executives on a global scale. The PC Intern will work closely with PIE Project Coordinators managing our community membership information. PIE is committed to the success and development of our employees. Over the course of the internship, the PC Intern will:
- Work as a member of the Project Coordinator Team
- Be part of the team that launches new projects at PIE
- Become familiar with the world of business and how companies are structured
- Develop strong business communication skills
- Learn skills resulting in a high level of organization
- Learn about the keys to driving successful client-centric projects
- Maintain accurate and detailed database of client information via Salesforce CRM Software, Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets
- Research and source executive contact information
- Prepare documents for client projects
- Check-in with Team and supervisor to discuss effective strategies
- Recruit executives to roundtables via phone and email outreach
- At PIE we all wear many hats: other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Opportunity to complete a project for coursework credit:
- Project to be determined based on interest and needs of student and PIE.
Qualifications:
We are looking for motivated individuals who embrace responsibility, have a keen eye for detail, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. To succeed in the position, individuals must be efficient, organized, flexible, and detail oriented. Project Coordinator Interns are eager to learn and improve organizational efficiency, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and are not afraid to pick up the phone and call an executive office anywhere in the world. Individuals must have strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Salesforce are preferred. PIE operates on Microsoft 365 platforms. Pay: Competitive DOQ
Hours: 15-30 hours/week, spanning across 2-5 days/week (flexible depending on candidate’s schedule and work demand)
Length of Internship: Internship will run concurrently with the fall university term with an option to extend into the spring term based on PIE’s needs and Intern’s performance
