In short, our purpose at TEAM is to blow people’s minds and steal their hearts with incredible brand experiences. We want you to help us help our brands do amazing, unprecedented, wildly creative things, creating moments that people never forget and that people will want to share with others. To make all that great work happen takes a lot of coordination and organization behind the scenes.
THE TEAM DIFFERENCE
People may forget your witty hashtag and your latest campaign tagline, but they will never forget how you made them feel. That’s because what a brand does is much more important than what it says. Actions speak louder than advertising and marketing. Experiences are what create real connections that lead to brand love, and that’s what we do at TEAM. We’re a fun, collaborative, hard-working group with a great office environment that takes care of our employees to ensure that, both in work and in life, you experience something greater.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Program Manager (PM) will work with the Angel's Envy team and report to the Retail Specialist Program Director. The PM must exhibit strong leadership and communication and skills, alongside meticulous attention to detail, to manage the Retail Specialist team. The ideal candidate will also have an understanding of off-premise commercial targets and will guide the team to improve volume, distribution, and increase rate of sales in the off-premise. The ideal candidate will:
• Oversee and lead the team of Retail Specialists (recruit, onboard, train, retain, and manage full-time specialists). A familiarity with “field marketing” programs, specifically the logistics around communicating program goals and KPIs, developing playbooks, utilizing systems/scheduling tools/electronic assets, etc., to track and measure performance, will provide a “leg up” on other applicants for this position.

• Be highly skilled at interfacing directly with clients and must present him/herself in a professional, competent manner. The individual will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly win the trust and respect of their client and peers.
• Perform various administrative tasks, including hosting weekly status calls, composing correspondence such as client memos and finance reports, creating presentations, project timelines, and after-action/contact reports.
• Track Ambassador activity and reporting to ensure there are no gaps
• Be solution-oriented when confronted with managing ambiguity. An entrepreneurial approach will aid in winning the respect of the individual team and the supporting departments while understanding the required balance of utilizing the agency’s tools and following existing effective practices.
• Bring a creative and insightful approach to participating/assisting in strategy and creative brainstorming.
• Be capable of explaining & presenting the offerings and capabilities of the Retail Specialist Team to the brand marketing, customer marketing, and sales teams at Bacardi North American and their distribution partner Southern Glazers Wines and Spirits.
• Practice and ensure compliance with all the organization’s policies and procedures.
WAYS TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD
• Goal-oriented, focusing on tasks and ensuring objectives are met with quality and timeliness.
• Act as a superb communicator. When interacting with clients, leverage skills within the agency (across departments) and externally. Maintain detailed schedules, provide updates to the team, lead weekly advocacy status meetings, and stay ahead of potential pitfalls prior to their occurrence.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships through effective communication with clients, peers, direct reports, and internal teams.
• Exhibit initiative and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment with multiple departments. Must be able to communicate effectively across departments.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of experience in project management and people management; the addition of prior event marketing, or luxury brand experience would provide insight to the position’s requirements.
• Possess strong people and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with all levels of personnel (internal & external).
• Extremely organized with great attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of working within the Microsoft Office Suite, SmartSheets, Google Docs (or comparable), and other Web-based tools is a requirement.
• Ability to travel and assist with onsite program management as requested.
