OPEXUS has an exciting opportunity for a Program Director to join our team. The Program Director owns a strategic portfolio and operates end-to-end engagement to improve business outcomes for customers and OPEXUS.

This critical role is responsible for developing long-range planning and delivering day-to-day execution. From managing contractual obligations to mitigating risk to measuring key success metrics, the Program Director has a span of control to get desired results.

Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, the Program Director is highly collaborative among cross-functional leadership, colleagues, partners, and customers to achieve financial and customer-satisfaction targets.

Location: Washington, DC with hybrid telework available

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Learn assigned portfolio through existing documentation, stakeholder interviews and leadership direction.
  • Swiftly attain working knowledge of dedicated market and applicable product and services.
  • Build portfolio management plan outlining stakeholders and operational elements, including program plan and schedule, prioritized risk mitigations, escalation process, reporting framework, and regular stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide reporting and analysis to keep leadership and key stakeholders informed on portfolio progress, risks and mitigations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for optimization and propose them to key stakeholders for implementation.
  • Build ecosystem of influence to accomplish priorities and serve as subject matter expert on designated portfolio.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement where lessons learned are shared and refinements are applied to future operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, such as partners, vendors.
  • Live OPEXUS core values and foster an inclusive culture by promoting diversity of thought internally and externally, while modeling smart and healthy leadership practices.
  • Mentor new and junior employees to cultivate employee experience and growth opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Understanding of professional services delivery operations and reporting best practices
  • Knowledge of SaaS technology practices preferred.
  • Proven collaborative leader and company-culture champion.
  • Must commit to a hybrid-office setting and be in the office a minimum of two days per week.
  • Must be willing and able to travel within U.S. and Canada on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.
  • Can plan strategic initiatives and execute tactics while meeting deadlines.

Education:

  • 4-year degree, 5-7 years of progressive operations and leadership experience
