Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWho We Are:Watkins Distributing is a family owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations.Job Summary:The Payroll/HR Generalist will be responsible for submitting our biweekly payroll & overseeing HR functions for a bi-state wholesaler with 350 employees.
 Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for accurately processing employee payroll, including calculations, deductions, and withholdings.
  • Responsible for managing garnishments following federal and state regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Collect and verify timekeeping information, and resolve payroll-related queries for all employees, across Idaho & Montana.
  • Manage various HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, and terminations.
  • Assist with benefits administration and performance management.
 Preferred Skills/Abilities:
  • 3+ years experience as a multi-state payroll clerk.
  • Familiarity with payroll & HR regulations, including labor regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in using payroll management systems for efficient processing, emphasis on experience with Paylocity software.
  • Skilled in managing and resolving workplace conflicts and employee concerns.
  • Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy, with an emphasis on confidentiality.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel.
