About the job:Worthmann Roofing and Gutters is adding a commercial estimator to our commercial production division. As the commercial estimator, you will be expected to review the scope of work to measure project specifications accurately, support the distribution of plans and specifications to vendors/subcontractors when the job is awarded, and provide a material list to assist the project team with scheduling deliveries. This role requires construction expertise and should have experience with performing take-offs, estimating, project management, and client relations.This role requires construction expertise, and you should have experience performing JobNimbus, SumoQuote, estimating, project management, and client relations.Ideal candidates value attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management. Success is utilizing estimating software to generate various prices for different scopes of work primarily related to sloped roofing, flat roofing, and siding.

What we're looking for:

• 3 to 5+ years' experience in construction estimation and project management.
• Certifications preferred/required.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Must work well both independently and as a team.
• Self-starter with proven ability to exceed goals.
• Willingness to learn additional skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, SumoQuote, Xactimate, and/or other
• takeoff estimating software.
• Experience with, JobNimbus CRM or other client relationship management software preferred.
• Honesty, reliability, and kindness are all important to our workplace environment.

Schedule:Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Given the nature of the Production department and the demand to work around the seasons and the weather, the Commercial Estimator is expected to be flexible in their schedule. During less busy seasons and/or on rainy/hail days, the Commercial Estimator is expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
