Key Functions:

• Financial statement preparation and variance analysis
• Fixed asset tracking and recording depreciation
• Assist with annual budget process
• Generate and process journal entries
• Monthly account reconciliations
• Work with finance team to collect receivables; apply cash receipts and reconcile cash daily
• Collaborate with accounting personnel to review customer invoices
• Assist Controller with monthly revenue cutoff and financial reporting
• Support the AR and AP processes
• Assist with implementing technology to create efficiencies
• Support payroll and employee benefits processing, as needed
• Other ad hoc financial reporting and analysis requests

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting and/or Finance
• Substantial experience in accounting and finance (8+ years)
• Experience in logistics, infrastructure, and transportation (preferred, not required)
• Ability to learn new systems and technology
• Self-motivated and adaptive
• Must thrive with being managed remotely and communicating via telephone and video conferencing
• Majority of time will be spent on site, with some remote work expected
• Occasional travel to terminal sites may be required (est. quarterly basis)
• 40-hour work week, with some overtime expected as needed
