Compensation

  • Minimum Rate Per Hour: $32
  • Maximum Rate Per Hour: $53
  • Sign On Bonus: $5,000 (for full-time candidates with 2 years of experience)

Job Summary


We are seeking full-time Registered Nurses with Emergency Department experience to join our team. This is a fast-paced environment with high-acuity patients, ideal for nurses looking to expand their knowledge and skills.


What You'll Do


  • Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
  • Create, implement, and evaluate care plans, adjusting them as necessary to reach desired outcomes.
  • Build relationships, manage patient discomfort, and maintain professionalism.
  • Educate patients, families, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive care plan, carefully delegate tasks, and follow up promptly.
  • Utilize problem-solving strategies, prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
  • Achieve goals through teamwork, recognize contributions, and commit to personal and professional growth.


Emergency Department Details


  • Patient Population: Transplant, Advanced Head and Neck, Cardiac, Trauma, Oncology, Pediatric, and Geriatric.
  • Patient Ratios: 1:4 in main ED, 1:3 in trauma.
  • Number of Beds: 36 beds.
  • Department Specifics: ED Volumes: 140-160/day, ECMO, LVAD, Chest Pain, and Stroke Center, Level III trauma center, Emergency Medicine Residency Program, Tele-Psych capabilities, Active Unit Based Council.


Registered Nurse Requirements


  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
  • Must have at least 1 year of RN Emergency Department experience.
  • License/Certification:
  • RN Registered Nurse
  • BLS Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
