Job DescriptionJob Description

Seeking a part-time Housekeeper at our boutique location in Asheville, NC. Working alone or with a partner, each Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, activity areas, and public spaces on the property. Major responsibilities include servicing accommodations according to property procedures, processing laundry replacing bed linens, and supplying guest room amenities. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work without constant direct supervision.

Compensation:

$16 - $18 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed
  • Answer general questions from guests
  • Perform cleaning duties and arrange guest rooms to our hotel’s standard before guests arrive
  • Track rooms cleaned and document lost and found items, damage, and repairs needed
  • Keep common spaces such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms clean and stocked with supplies
Qualifications:
  • Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
  • Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
  • At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
